^the helix? nice!

I FINALLY finished stretching to 0g today!!!! so excited. I started Sunday, and it was a week spent a little tender, but soooo worth it. Still a little swollen, but I'm sooo happy :)

Wait is a cartilage piercing called a 'helix'? I didn't know that! I have 3 and have always just said 'cartilage piercing', haha.

Yeah the "helix" is the proper name for it. I always say Helix because I find it easier to spell than cartilage LOL

thanks man! They're looking a little better now, the swelling's gone down quite a bit :P

& how's it feeling? They're pree hit and miss as far as I've heard. My friend has had one for two years and it still isn't fully healed, just from sleeping on it and physical activity :s

It's not that bad. Just in the cold and when i hit it. Cleaning it is a pain in the ass though. I don't have the patience to let it soak for 10 minutes twice a day so I've just been cotton swabbing it the past few days. Probably a bad idea though...I should start to get back on top of that lol :P But yeah, sleeping, leaning on it funny and i hit myself in the head with a box at work yesterday so it's a little sore at times, but otherwise not bad!

Thanks Robin! Soaked it last night and this morning :P
I'm just waiting my time out before I can switch to a ring. I like the stud, but it's too small and cute, a ring or CBR is what I really want :P

I LOVE CBRs. I really want one for my lip, but I'm paranoid they don't make them big enough haha. I have large lips hahahaha, and I have a couple horseshoes, in the biggest size that store sells, that are barely big enough... blah. haha.
I boughteded new plugs though! A regualr pair and DFs. Not going to be able to wear the DFs for awhile though, but they're so pretty.

what would one do if the ball on my helix piercing came off and i can't get it back in?
it's like a three part stud so the backing and the straight part are still in my ear, but the ball to keep it there fell off :/

I know a lot of people that don't even have any balls on the end their industrials. Worst case, you can always go to a piercings place and get them to put it back on :)

My balls have fallen off before (that sounds soo wrong) and the earring has fallen out because of it. I order my jewelry online and have intentionally ordered extras just so I have some spare balls in case I need them (that also sounds wrong...)

I just got my conch pierced yesterday and I lovveee it!! I was so nervous to do it cuz I though it would hurt so much, but it didn't hurt at all! I think maybe cuz I got my industrial done before, compared to that this was nothing!
Can't wait for 3 months to be able to change it to a hoop, I don't like it being a stud you can't really see it.
Really hope it doesn't reject!

merrrrp, never on here any more :(

I put a lobe stud in until it reopened and now have it changed to a CBR :)
LOVE IT, although it's kinda sore when i lie on it, but my piercer said that it had started to close a bit in the back because the lobe stud was smaller than the original piercing so i'm thinking it's probably because it's 're-healing' or something???

sidenote: the ball is the same colour as my prom dress, i'm excited <3
