Nice! The only reason I get to go to post-secondary is because of all the government funding for status natives. And then every scholarship I get beyond that, I get to keep as money in my pocket.

daaaamn girl. you're living at home too right?

my parents are paying tuition/res, but living expenses are up to me. i got an $1100 bursary and I'm still waiting to hear back about other scholarships. Fingers crossed though, because I really don't want to have to work first year.

Ya, I am living at home.

Also, what I'm doing is (this is my brother's brilliant strategy) taking on a student loan (OSAP granted me $5600) and I'm putting it away in the bank. After my four years, I give them the money back and keep the interest that's been collected. My brother made a couple hundred when he did this.

i'm hoping to get a scholarship, whether it be from my grades or else from sports..
but if i don't get it, then it won't be a big deal, my dad has been putting away money for my sister and i since we were really young, so i'll have everything paid for.

I'm getting impatient, too. Mostly because I'm sick of my city and all the people in it.
I'm taking Journalism. What are you taking at York?

Nice! Looking back now, I regret not taking French.
It would be so good to have.
