I hated Go Ask Alice the first time I read it, but when I read it a second time, I picked up on a lot more and liked it way better.

I'm reading a book called Getting To Maybe about the process of social change...a lot drier than I would've liked it to be. I'm a tad disappointed.

I think it's just the way it's written. Because it's from a 15 year old girl's point of view, it's really not very well written, and sparse in detail. In my opinion. Considering most of the books I read are about drugs, I was pretty disappointed.

Just finished Push. So terrible awful and heartbreaking, but I couldn't stop reading it. Finished in a couple days. So good.

I thought that Go Ask Alice was a very simple read. It is supposed to be the journal of a 15 year-old so considering that, I enjoyed it.
Though once I finished it, I found I was left with a bitter taste in my mouth. I try not to get too wrapped up into those types of books because they can be quite depressing.

Right now I'm reading Fifty Shades of Grey. I'm around the 200 page mark. It's everything that I expected it to be based on others reviews of it, but at the same time nothing what I expected. If that makes any sense at all. :P

Somehow I have managed to read 2 books since the start of the semester.

first book I managed to get through was "the night circus", i really enjoyed it. It jumps around a bit between characters, locations as well as time periods because it is based upon a travelling circus. The main character is a magician and is bound from a young age to compete within a competition that she doesn't really know much about. it was very well written and the author is very descriptive. overall i would recommend reading it

second book I read was "the painted drum" this was a book that was assigned for the aboriginal studies class that I am taking this semester and I thought that this book was very well written. A lot of characters in this book as well, but I seem to enjoy books that are told between different perspectives and I enjoy seeing how they all connect together at the end of the book. This is a book I would recommend as well.

Now i am (slowly, darn school), making my way through First They Killed My Father. True story of a Cambodian girl. So far so good.

I still have yet to finish 50 shades of grey. I started reading it in September and just haven't had the time to get through it.
Not because it isn't good or anything. I just suck when it comes to reading.

I still haven't finished the third one. It got really boring and I just haven't felt like reading it. I'm sure I'll eventually finish it.. maybe..

The latest book that I've recently read was "Seriously... I'm Kidding" by Ellen.
I LOVED it. I read it in like 5 days. It really made me want to read her other two books. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants an easy and light read. Especially for those of you who are fans of Ellens talk show.

I read The Fault In Our Stars by John Green to see what all the fuss was about.
Still not sure what all the fuss is about, to be honest.
It's a good enough book but I really, really did not like Augustus Waters, he was pretentious and kind of obnoxious.

I'm going to try and read the Amory Wars series by Claudio Sanchez.
The series is pretty much comic books but there are a couple of novels that tie into it.
It's based around the band Coheed and Cambria. I love that band so much so I am sure that it will be easy for me to get behind the story line too.

Just finished Before I Go to Sleep by SJ Watson. Took a bit for me to get into it, but it got super good. Would recommend.
